ABOUT
MEET MIKE
Mike grew up in Howard County, Maryland. At age eleven, he constructed a three-story treehouse, that lasted for years until the land was cleared, which sparked his passion for carpentry. He was a natural with a hammer and saw. He attended Howard County Vocational Technical School’s Carpentry Program. During and after high school, he worked for a Howard County custom home builder for 10+ years, before starting his own framing subcontracting company. With his incredibly strong work ethic and quality craftsmanship, he established a reputation as a master carpenter. This allowed him to focus on custom home building/remodeling, barns, and historic restorations along with specializing in small boutique commercial projects. He has worked on many unique properties and projects while continually adding to his experience.
Now with his focus on hand crafted wood projects, Mike is getting back to basics. His passion has always been woodworking and he continues to produce one-of-a-kind pieces for satisfied clients all over the Mid-Atlantic region. With the combination of quality materials, expert craftsmanship, and Mike’s “built right to last” mentality - his work is always top notch.
